Day 1 Round 2 - Review

A tough start. Tried hard to limit my calories but struggled. I walked for 1 hour and felt great. I did gain 24 kg but my fitness is still strong. It is going to take a few days to get back into a routine. Here are some cool goya from my wife's grandfather's garden. I love the stuff.

I'm back and Big. Took a wrong turn somewhere. Missed the on-line companionship.

    Steve,
Those crazy goya, 'bitter mellon' are great. I did see them in the Asian markets in Canada and the North West States.

TJ & Steve, if you are gardeners and want to plant some, e mail me your snail address and I will send you some seeds for next year. Unfortunately they are Thailand seeds. Only the hard core green thumb types are able to get them to grow from "raw" seeds.

  4. Well, I got online and read about goya. It is an interesting fruit with some pretty fascinating health claims (especially the one regarding type II diabetes). While I would love to take you up on the offer to grow some, I think your last line says it all, and it seconds what I read elsewhere. With it being more of a tropical/sub-tropical plant, I am not sure it would ever be fruitful here. Thank you though for the offer.
